Frasers Centrepoint Trust invests mainly in Retail malls in Singapore and currently owns 10 properties in Singapore.
This is one of my favourite reits listed here in Singapore. With a dividend yield of close to 5%, this is attractive enough for me to include this in my retirement portfolio. Lately price is moving up gradually. I believe its not difficult to notice the shopping mall traffic is almost back to normal. In fact the heartland mall were packed during the December month. Finally, we are very close to living with Covid.
Personally I continue to stay positive on this heartland mall Reit, which did not suffer as much compared to Capitamall as many of Capitamall some level of tourist. Whereas Fraser heartland can be self sustain with locals. Infact its so important to locals to visit mall, that many vaccination phobic went for vaccination just to be able to get to the mall. [smile]
For me, i have spend the last 1 - 1.5years accumulating reits through DCA approach. In 2022, will continue to increase position. My goal is to have 1-2k of dividend every month to fund my retirement, target in 3-5 years.
