Whenever I find myself questioning this investment, I have to remember my thesis and time horizon for investing in the company. It can be difficult, but if you look back at other companies that have revolutionized specific tech / industries their SP tells a similar story. So I focus on the company’s fundamentals and it’s overall strategy and qualitative growth prospects. Spend some time on Palantir’s website and take a deep dive reading about their products. And you’ll see that this is most likely only the beginning of a very long and perhaps revolutionary growth story. The Apollo / Edge AI segment of their website is most intriguing, especially when you understand the innumerable use cases for this technology. At the end of the day, you have to choose to believe, based on all available information, in an eventual inflection point for the stock. The amount you have chosen or will choose to risk or invest is up to YOU. If you believe that eventually outstanding fundamentals, a great growth trajectory, and the potential to revolutionize industries will make for a great long term investment, then Palantir is probably for you. If not, then it’s probably not. If you believe that any number of huge potential catalysts warrants it’s current multiple and it’s worth holding now for that reason then the stock is for you. If not, then don’t hold it.
