good!

@TheMilkyWay$AMD(AMD)$Had so many commented on my last post on AMD saying how AMD is a great company with a strong track record, how we would still be heavily dependent on chips for at least the next century & how 118 could be the support & the stock price would shoot up after so investors should not be worried about the current dip in stock price & should actually load more now. Am not going to really comment if it’s a good time to load more AMD shares now because I am not a technical expert. All I would say is I’m watching the stock closely & am prepared to load when it’s closer to 100. Reason being 1. I trust technical analysis but we are in a very fearful market that even the FANNG stocks are now going into a deep correction. 2. AMD has good cash flow & the stock isn’t way overvalued so I don’t think it eould crash hard to way below 100. 3. I already have a decent position & amount so there’s no rush for me to load up more. The main point in my last post was about learning to take profit. And I am glad I did take some yesterday. The only slightly upsetting thing was I could have taken profit at a few dollars higher but the opposite could also have happened & it did. So many retail investors are attached to a stock & would defend it to death. No one was talking about selling AMD stock. It was a sharing of learning to take profit while you still can because I was already very late. Don’t exit a good stock for short term gains (or out of fear) but always remember to take profit, don’t blindly follow the just buy and hold advice unless you are Buffet & you don’t need to take profits to build more warchest. In fact, I think even Buffet takes profits. Yes, AMD could actually rebound on Monday, who knows. All I know is I don’t have a crystal ball, I’m still in the game because it’s a good company but I have also bagged some decent profit before it gets erided in this fearful market [Smile]
