We need to understand Elon Musk motive. If you look at his lifestyle and life journey, he doesn't care much about wealth. Not forgetting he is already the wealthiest person (or among) in the world! So becoming the largest shareholder is never about investment. What's twitter earning compare to Tesla. It's about his influence (massive followers) with less censorship of  idea. In this era, social media is the most powerful tool to shape the world's idealogy.
