I started investing at the time when covid struck and all shares plunged. I had a sum of money that I could spare and asked my banker friend for advice. The very first share I bought was OCBC bank and I bought it at $8. I made a fair share of returns and decided to put more money to work.
But greed got the better of me and I started trading without any plans, thus losing quite a fair bit as well. Although , I have paid a lot of tuition fees by going on gut feel, I believe I have grown wiser nonetheless through my failures. Nowadays I make sure I read up on news constantly, monitor a stock for a while, make sure fundamentals are strong and buy it for the business model.
I am investing to accumulate my wealth and for retirement infuture.
