This is interesting, did they use MRNA technology?

I've read that the smallpox vaccine gave protection for monkeypox, but with smallpox being eradicated, no one gets the vaccine (no longer produced) and therefore no one is indirectly protected.

The alternative to making a new MRNA vaccine for monkeypox would then be to improve the smallpox vaccine, but I'm not informed enough to know if it can be done.

      I doubt it has significant impacts considering it doesn't seem to be as virulent as COVID.
      I guess time will tell

      compared to COVID, it seems less problematic, but yes we should learn the lesson that COVID and shut it down ASAP
