"Buy low, sell high" is a very basic premis but people forget how hard it is to put into practice.

what is more commonly seen is "confident buy, panic sell", where people muster up just enough confidence to invest in a stock, then panic sell the moment it starts to drop, often ending up "buying low, selling lower".

Just some thoughts from a newbie.
