SOFI remains underwater, despite its excellent Q1'22 earnings and upwards revision for FY2022 revenues.

Though the impending recession has a hand in it, rising interest rates also turn away certain investors, combined with the extended student loan moratorium.

Nonetheless, long-term SOFI investors have nothing to worry about, given its massive user base and expanding product adoption.

    It's the possibility of recession that investors are afraid of.  Banks suffer in recession because business is poor, good lenders are few and loans going bad increase significantly.
