If he has cash yes good deal, but if have to sell tesla or loan with tesla share as collateral or also finding funds from other, not so good deal for Tesla. So many retail investors support tesla

Long term, the recession will probably end up being a huge benefit for tesla imo. A lot of these new ev startups will be struggling massively to stay afloat.
