I started my option trading only last Dec 21 when I open my Tiger Broker account. Since then I manage to get my position filled with favorable and adverse outcome.

My Disappointed Options Trading
My bad option position (maybe not??). I have is Sell Put with $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ which allow me to earn some cashflows but at the same time, the share fall way below my Strike Price which was USD 17 on 21 Jan 22 and has since been on a downward trend until recently (USD 13.27).

I've been holding the stocks even since as I believe it has long term potential since PLTR do not have any Debts in their Balance Sheet which will be less impactful when Fed's further quantitative easing come this May.

My (consider) Most Successful Options Trading
I jump into the bandwagon on $VanEck Russia ETF(RSX)$1 day before it got suspended due to the on going Ukraine Vs Russia War by Selling Put at Strike Price of USD 2 with immediate cash inflow of USD 47.

My intention was to hold it with a long term view that RSX ETF would later gain traction once such war devastation would over soon.

Its weird that most of the time, God play things out not in your advantage, to give you a hint on lessons in life. As Steve Jobs says "It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it..."

I believe that everyone able to benefits from investing so long as they do their research, maintain the right kind of temperament and pre-set their game plan and stick to it.

Honestly I'm not sure when would I be able to be financially free through investing. Only time will tell. That why we can only connect the dots when we look back.

Happy Investing everyone!

Options investing does take some time to learn. Hang in there. 💪 i started options ard 10 years ago, and bankrupted my account twice then. It was horrible then. Even when i was right, i lost money

Due to high comissions. Many of the current strategies, like rolling etc will be extremely unprofitable then. The options environment is a lot more friendly now.

U have the right approach on pltr. Only sell puts on coys that u want to hold. Then convert to covered calls to form the wheel. Alternatively, not sure if u are familar with the concept of rolling.

Rolling will buy u time and premiums to recover a losing/wrong positions. If u have time, guess it will be worth a look.

Fed rate hikes are indeed good for companies with less debt.

The lack of any debt on PLTR's balance sheet is also my reason for holding it.
