AMD user. Here is how I fixed (for now) my stutter issue.

I use AMD 5700xt graphics card and AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with 16gb RAM.

I was getting 60 fps, but FPS would dip to 20-30 seemingly randomly when looking around. It was never a constant dip. It would just occur every now and then when playing. Especially against Tree Sentinel.

What I did:

First thing, I tried setting EldenRing.exe performance to High Performance in graphics settings. Didn't work for me.

I then switched to windowed borderless...still no good.

I then changed windows power settings to balanced. No good either.

Finally, I changed AMD "wait for vertical refresh" setting (I use AMD drivers and this is vsync) to "On unless application specifies" and also added Steam.exe to "High Performance" in Graphics Settings. Did these things together, not sure which helped me.

I then challenged Tree Sentinel and only had one MASSIVE stutter after he hit me. Normally I would be stuttering after every turn on my horse. Other than that one massive stutter, everything was crisp 60fps. Going to do more tests, but seems everything is better now. Hope this helps someone else too!

edit: Now if anyone has any advice on reducing grass "pop in" that would be great. Playing on "high" settings and having this grass pop in like Skyrim is very immersion breaking.$AMD(AMD)$
