Buy When There's Blood in The Street

A famous quote from Nathan Rothschild for contrarian investing can produce great profits. Applied to semiconductor industry which is not favorable this time, I think it good time to collect some of semiconductor stocks. Though facing supply chain disruption first and then slowing demand due to high inflation, this industry is still believed as promising sector in long run for EV/AV, IoT, data center etc. To pick which stock to buy depends on investors preferances such as low p/e, high dividend yield, wide moat and market leader and so forth. For low p/e, there are $Micron Technology(MU)$ , $Intel(INTC)$, $Advanced Semiconductor Engineering(ASX)$. For high dividend yield, it is ASX as well. For those who loves to buy wide moat and market leader, there is TSMC which has 56% market share.

It is no guarantee when the decline is ended for semiconductor stocks. What we can do is only averaging down wisely.

Will Semi earnings drive stocks higher?
Semiconductor stocks like ASML, TSM will release earnings in the two weeks. Recently, semiconductor stocks show strength amidst weak performance of broader market. ---------- How do you expect earnings of Semiconductor stocks? Will earnings boost the semicondutor's performance?
