😡🇺🇸THE HISTORY OF ELON MUSK’S FEVER WITH PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN

🤢Elon Musk said he voted for Biden. He now calls him a "wet sock puppet" and plans to vote Republican after they have been feuding for months. The richest man in the world was once a supporter of President Joe Biden, but Elon Musk's relationship with the White House has soured over the past year.

🧑‍🚀Most recently, the President mocked Musk's obsession with space in response to a question about the billionaire's comments that the US was in a recession. In his response, the president highlighted Ford's investment in electric vehicles and its alliance with Tesla.

"While Elon Musk is talking about it, Ford is significantly increasing its investment," Biden said of Musk's pessimism. "I think Ford is increasing investment in new electric vehicles, 6,000 new employees - union workers, I might add - in the Midwest."

🌜Biden went on to add, "You know, he got really lucky on his trip to the moon."

Musk said last month he plans to vote Republican in the next presidential election, but the billionaire said he has voted "overwhelmingly" Democrat in the past. In fact, Musk worked closely with the Obama administration during the early years of SpaceX and said he voted for Hillary Clinton, as well as Biden, in the last two U.S. presidential elections.

🤩 Shortly after Biden's inauguration, Musk told Fortune that he was very excited about the new president taking office and that he planned to work closely with the Biden administration in climate change efforts.

"I'm very excited that the new administration is climate-focused," Musk said in January. “I am very optimistic about the future of sustainable energy with the new administration. Not that we should be complacent or anything, but the wind is blowing at our back to tackle the climate crisis with a new administration,” he added.

However, Biden may not have been Musk's first choice as the Democratic nominee. Last December, Musk tweeted to U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont) that the U.S. should set an age limit that would prevent people over 70 from running for office — a measure that would disqualify both Biden and former President Donald Trump.

💭Less than a month after Biden's presidency, Musk began to express dissatisfaction with some of his decisions. In February, Musk said the Biden administration had dismissed his carbon tax idea as "too politically complicated". The Tesla CEO made the comments during an interview for the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

The feud between Musk and Biden really started to take shape last summer after the president failed to invite the CEO of the largest electric car maker in the US to an electric car summit at the White House. Musk tweeted that it "seems odd that Tesla wasn't invited."

🤑Musk has also criticized the Democratic Party's tax plan against American billionaires. At the time, legislation could have given the billionaire a $10 billion annual tax bill.

"Eventually they run out of other people's money and then they come after you," he tweeted in October.

In January, Musk spoke harshly about Biden, calling him a “wet socks puppet.” The Tesla CEO spoke out after Biden once again met with Ford and GM executives about the introduction of electric vehicles and did not include Tesla.
