To be fair, I think most would think that the CPI shouldn't be too good. Anyconsumer would feel the pitch from inflationand would have started to cut back on expenses. Even for essentials, in desperate times, there are also ways to cut back like eating less premiumly, choosing sale items or relatively cheaper items.  Tough days ahead, especially for those who are already on a tight budget
