[Shy] Hello, Tiger Pal!

You need a Tiger Account before trading anything. Don't worry, it's pretty easy and simple to open an account. Just follow the steps.

You can open your account on the official website or just use the APP to open your account. The latter is recommended. Today I will show you how to open a Tiger Account on Tiger Trade APP.

1. Click "Open Account"

There are plenty of places where you can click "Open Account". The most obvious one is on your homepage.

2. Country information.

This step will decide which country's account you are going to open.

3. Choose Account Opening Method

You have two options: 3.1. Apply with Myinfo / 3.2. Apply with Manual Filling. The first one is highly recommended. But don't worry, I will explain them both.

3.1 Apply with MyInfo

3.1.1 MyInfo

After scanning the Myinfo QR code, your information will automatically be submitted. Click on "I Agree" to submit your basic information (Steps 3.2, 8.5, 9, 10, and 11 can be skipped).

3.1.2 Personal Information

In this step, you need to submit your name, ID number, residential address, birthday, gender, and postcode.

3.2 Apply with Manual Filling

3.2.1 Personal information

If you choose to fill in your info manually, you have to fill in your full name, birthday, gender, NRIC or Passport information.

3.2.2 Residential Address

According to the document you submitted, you will face different situations.

If you have submitted your NRIC, you have to confirm whether your address is the same as your ID card.

4. Job Information

Next, you need to complete your job info in detail. (Both users who choose MyInfo and users who fill in the information manually will have to follow Steps 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.) You may notice that students and interns are different from other users.

5. Investment Information

Investment info is also needed. This step is important for us to tailor our service for you. You can choose to open a Margin Account or Cash Account according to your needs. For students and interns, you can only choose Cash Account.

6. Asset Information

Your Asset info will help us to assess your risk tolerance. If you don't have a tax ID, please choose the reason or explain.

7. Customer Account Review

8. General agreements and Disclosures

[ For users who choose to fill in their information with MyInfo, this is the LAST step! 🎉] As you can see, filling in your information with MyInfo can really save a lot of steps.

8.5 Verify your phone number. (for users who registered with their E-mails only)

If you registered with your e-mail, you have to verify your phone number.

For users who registered with their phone numbers in the first place, this step can be skipped.

9. Upload Identity Proof

In this step, you need to upload your identity proof according to the type of document you have chosen.

10. Sign your name

Sign your name in the blank section and click "finish".

11. Face Verification

Congratulations! This is the last step!

That's it! Isn't it simple? Opening your account is the start of your investment journey!

For users who choose to fill in their information with MyInfo, the process is simpler and that's why we highly recommend you to use MyInfo to help you.
