Unfortunately Boris Johnson failed as he has lost the trust and support of his colleagues in the Parliament by his inability to be truthful. David Cameron and Theresa May were Boris Johnson's predecessors during pre Brexit. David Cameron caused much political instability by his Brexit referendum and resigned when 52% of Britons voted to leave the EU and 48% voted to stay. Theresa May resigned when she failed to get the Parliament to approve the Brexit terms 3 times. None of the 3 prime ministers can match the calibre of Margaret Thatcher, the longest serving Prime Minister of UK. She was nicknamed the Iron Lady for her uncompromising politics and leadership style. She was voted the most competent prime minister of the past 30 years in a poll.
