DBS rose as much as 4.2% to S$34.42 early on Friday, while OCBC added as much as 3.7% to S$12.42, putting it on track for its biggest one-day gain in more than a year.
DBS had earlier reported that first-quarter net profit fell 10% from a year earlier due to weak market sentiment but rose 30% from the fourth quarter of 2021. Net interest income climbed 4% quarter over quarter to $2.19 billion Singapore dollars (US$1.58 billion).$DBS GROUP HOLDINGS LTD(D05.SI)$
