A book that I keep going back to read is Mindset by Carol Dweck. This book is written based on the belief that your abilities can be developed through your effort, strategies and help from others. It just shows that you can keep getting better in things that you're not good in.
The reason why I keep coming back to this book is because it offers a mindset that can be applied to many areas in my life such as work, relationships etc. It also shows you that with this mindset known as the Growth Mindset, whether you faced setbacks or failures, it offers you a path to rise from it versus a label. You learn from the failures/setbacks and use a better strategy that will allow you to succeed.
I was able to apply this thinking especially when I was just starting out in my investment journey last year and happened to invest in the wrong company at the wrong time, when most companies stock price is crashing and I lost quite a bit of money. I didn't give up and tried to learn as much as I can from this mistake and also put more effort into doing more research on great companies with great fundamentals that will allow me to grow my money. I was able to get better from this setback with greater knowledge of how to invest properly [Happy]
