Mark Minervini. Trade Like a Stock Market Champion. Whilst the title sounds very corny, the content is anything but. When you want to be successful, the best way is to learn from the best. Mark Minervini is a US Investing Champion. This is the most prestigious investing championship and traders have to pledge real money. He exceeded 1000% over 5 years and 300% in the year he won the championship. Get into his mind as he shares how he trades. Mark has written another book which I found to be enriching as well. I suggest spending time with books as these verified champions are the real deal. Do not waste time on online gurus who have no track record to back them up. Online gurus are good at marketing. Ask for for records and they will sheepishly say its confidential. Mark regularly gives interviews on his thoughts and also how he reads into charts. He quoted Larry Hite in the book about finding Assymetrical Leverage and that book by Larry Hite was a good read as well. These guys wants to shares their knowledge so that more people can trade correctly. After all, these guys are multi millionaires and the books sales do not add much to their bottom line. I have read a bunch of trading books and this one is of the books I strongly recommend. I believe any aspiring trader will benefit from Mark's books. I have read this book 3 times now and each time I get some new dimension about his teachings. Cutting your losers short and letting your winners ride meant alot more after reading these books. Off the top of my head, Mark M, Larry Hite and Nick Radge swears by this phrase. We hear them regularly repeating this and they do explain in detail why we should get this ingrained. The book is written very simply so even a beginner trader can understand quite easily. Risk reward, chart patterns, fundamental analysis are covered in detail in the book. You will definitely need to do more than 1 take. I decided to incorporate some aspects of fundamental analysis as he does provide compelling reasons to. Good luck.
