$Novavax(NVAX)$[Spurting] [Spurting] [Spurting] Is it time to cut you loose? Waaaa I don’t want [Cry] 

But someone in the Tiger Community made a very valid point - more approvals won’t be enough to push the stock price back up to where it was last year anymore (as we have seen, actually), we are in an environment now whereby investors want to see profit & Novavax has yet to even report revenue. 

We all know that many are waiting to take the Novavax Covid19 vaccine but we all also know the majority of the market share has already been taken up by Pfizer & Moderna. Just look at the market share that the other makers have currently. How much market share do you think the Novavax vaccine would be able to acquire? 

Also, though some affluent countries have approved the Novavax vaccine, it would probably be mainly the less developed countries that would be buying the Novavax vaccine so the vaccine can’t be expensive so what do you think the profit margin would be in the current environment? 

I’m now thinking if the stock price does start to climb, we probably won’t be seeing 250 anytime soon as I anticipated before.

    I'm still having on to novavax. 50% of my portfolio is novavax. Can't afford to sell them now though there are many stocks on discount now. Not sure which stocks to buy more too.

      Should only hold on to stcoks with good fundamentals such as MSFT, Alphabet and META. Always diversify your portfolio. Do not put all your eggs or too many eggs in one basket.

    Maybe approval in the US and when they start delIvering vaccines might push this back to 200 [Great][Duh]

    3/ these countries have poorer logistics chain. pend up demand from non mRNA vaccine.
    resident for vaccination to travel. as more countries open unvaxx may change their minds.

      I really think it’s still a few good months to go. Before than more approval good news probably wont cause the stock price to rise up. Meanwhile, could have already missed the chance to risk transfer

      Yup, so we will need to wait for Nova to start reporting their earnings from the distribution of the vaccine. Anyone knows when would that be? Can judge from there.

    2/ there'll still be demand for nvax as governments aren't relaxing vaccination requirements. Austria has vaccine mandate. lot of 3rd world countries are largely unvaccinated.   /3

      bottom line is we want to invest in a company that brings in revenue & growing profit, right? I think the valuation of 200, Novavax would need months at least to grow into that valuation.

      Yes, governments are not relaxing vaccination mandate but most people in most countries are already on the Pfizer/ Moderna regime. That said, WHO says we can mix boosters so it’s not end game for Nova

      There are indeed better stocks out there trading at a big discount now. And those stocks are bound for a rebound, probably faster than Novavax but obviously nobody knows for sure.
