$Netflix(NFLX)$ I was just reminiscing back to four years ago when Disney bought Fox and announced they were starting their own streaming service. At the time, I said that many people would be interested in content like Marvel and Star Wars and X-Men and Disney animation and everything else that Disney offers in known content. I also said that the media would focus heavily on Disney versus Netflix and that attention would make things harder for Netflix. At the time I said this, the bulls here said NOBODY would have any interest in Disney content. "Cartoons and kiddie shows" came up ALOT in people saying I was wrong. Longs said competition wouldn't matter, they said Disney would go crawling back to Netflix and begging Netflix to take their content back. They also predicted Netflix would be $1000 per share in 2019, then in 2020, then in 2021, and even now in 2022 when it's struggling to hold $400. Do I wish I bought Netflix back when it was $100 and under? Of course. But if I had, I sure hope I would have been smart enough to take profit along the way. Anyway, I feel pretty good about my predictions four years ago. I guess sometimes people on these boards do know a thing or two.
