$SINGTEL(Z74.SI)$this hacking will increase cost. Was planning to buy it as a stock to hold but is probably the worst time now to buy. I have a feeling it is not over yet.
The information on how Optus and Dialog was targeted, makes me wonder if it's a job done inside Australia by someone with knowhow. It seems both Australian companys, run by Australians, need to tighten up their cybersecurity.
But Singtel will bear the brunt because it's easy to blame it on the parent (though the paeent's subsidy only took over in March).
Hence, will wait for the outcome a little longer.
