Property loan interest rates raising.

Currency losing strength vs usd, which makes traveling to USA relatively more expensive.

Oil prices that are priced in usd, even if oil prices doesn't go up, the currency exchange results in the oil prices going up As long as we are importers. 

Being the biggest currency in the world, anymovement will send shockwaves Throughoutthe world. Even hermit crabs like North Korea are also affected...

Doom and gloom aside, I remain an opportunist. Where and how can I benefit from it.

1. Currency exchange from native currency to usd

Do u know that when using tiger platform, even if u deposit sgd only, u do not need to convert sgd/hkd/aud to usd to sell us options? 

Tiger gives margin according to the native currency amount. Using this margin which is priced in usd, u can sell options directly which saves on the crazy usd exchange rate now. 

2. US Option selling gives usd 

This brings us to the next point, when we sell us options, we are given USD. Viola, we saved on currency exchange, in addition we now have usd to use. 

Let's move on to shares next.

3. Buying dividend stocks using USD

Knowing that USD is strong now, dividend collected from us stocks will give us even higher returns when we convert back to sgd. 

If we do not want to buy us shares, no worries, we can buy $MANULIFE US REIT(BTOU.SI)$$Prime US ReitUSD(OXMU.SI)$or otherSg shares that are listed in usd. We will be able to get paid in usd.

Personally, I have been doing this steps:

1. Deposit sgd into tiger 

2. Sell us options

3. Take usd from us options and buy us dividend stocks $Barclays PLC(BCS)$and s reits that are in usd $MANULIFE US REIT(BTOU.SI)$

4. Use us dividends and reinvest back into us shares or s reits (usd).
