At first I played it safe a few $$ here and there on the USA market, learning myself about the companies and what they offer.  Almost a sense of enjoyment came out of the trade of pure currency alone.   Watching the graphs move up and down quite often sparks the urge to add just one more to the list though.

TBH the very first thing I tried to do was invest in an Australian mining company but very quickly was rejected because I wasn't quite game enough to take the AustralianGovernment up on their minimum $500 wager(something I believe is so they can track you a lot quicker to make sure they get their share of tax)considering most of my shares are done quite whimsically I guess this is quite pessimistic view point but our government certainly won't miss an opportunity to take$1 if they can!

Finally I invested in that (well not that ONE otherwise I would be chuckling right now) Australian Company and instead of whimsically choosing I actually did the smart thing and did a bit of homework and guess what my investment didn't grow like a lovely little plant that had been lovingly planted and nurtured(even brought an extra couple of shares πŸ˜‚πŸ€”) I watered it ever day with positive thoughtsand checked in on it like you would a baby in its crib-clearly someone set that up in smoke and my beautiful plant πŸͺ΄ seems to be withering and dying, it's already lost over a 5th of its life but I have hope I am going to keep checking in on it everyday maybe πŸ€” I might choose to speak obscenities 🀬 at it.

Even though ATM my biggest wager isn't ontop there's still a chance things will turn around and who knows all my smaller ones might go through the roof.

Life is a gamble, we might as well enjoy ourselves along the way!

That $500 hurts, I'm staying in usa stocks as they don't need that Min. 500 can hurt you fast if you pick wrong.

I have felt the exact same thing, dreaming my account shinning greenly day by day... Until I lost my vast majority of capital... Then I moved completely to value investing, focus on the long-term performance... and started to study companies fundamentals
