The S&P 500 is now 3933.92 points, all the way down -884.7 points or (-18.36%) from its last peak of 4818.62 points in January 2022. Same fate with the Dow Jones which is now 33,597.92 points, losing 3354.73 points (or -9%) from its peak of 36,952.65 points in the beginning of 2022. The tech-heavy Nasdaq fare worst. It is now at 10958.55 points, with -5253.68 points (or -32.4%) evaporated into the thin air from its last peak of 16212.23 points in (or -9%)January 2022. The Federal Reserve is busy preparing for the Federal Open Market Committee meeting next week. The stock markets are now in extremely cautious mode with the fear of recession weighing, awaiting result of the meeting. "No Cuts until 2024", says Goldman economist about the Federal Reserve's likely path on interest rates. Anyone seriously looking into acquiring some Alphabet (usd$94.94 now) and AmazoN (USD$88.46 now) ? Both are fair price from their Earnings per share and Price to Book ratio.
