My loss in DLC is about 6% of my investment fund, probably I have not grab the strategy of using this instrument.

The loss is well recovered by gain of other shares.

I am not good in predicting market hence i adopt the strategy of cost averaging. When the price of the stock i hold fall below a certain percentage, i will buy in to lower my average stock price. 

This works for me, as i manage to put my cost down, and when market moves up to reach a certain percent gain, eg 10%, i will sell to realise the gain.

I like to hold few high dividend stock eg genting, propnex for passive income and stability for longer term.

Guess i still have a lot more to learn from the community here.
