Read this new preprint "Comparative effectiveness of four COVID-19 vaccines, BNT162b2 mRNA, mRNA-1273, ChAdOx1 nCov-19 and NVX-CoV2373 against SARS-CoV-2 B.1.1.529 (Omicron) infection". It's clear that mRNA vaccine helps to reduce asymptomatic infections although the efficacy numbers are not impressive across the board. It's also plausible to assume that viral load at the mucosal region is reduced anyway for the vaccinated. I'm speculating that if the data is more quantitative and not just reported as a simply above a certain background threshold, we'll again see that vaccination is helpful to reduce the burden of this covid outbreak. ps: And note that the background numbers is for pfizer vaccinated folks. So the numbers are in fact more impressive than they look.$Moderna, Inc.(MRNA)$
