$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ Why comparing tesla to apple is wrong. Apple always come out with somethingnew and competitors catch really fast. First Mac, fits apple OS and first iphone. ipod is basically a copy of MP3 player which apple is not first. You havegoggle, samsung, many other brands that really catch up to Apple easily. When comes to EV, the scene is totally difficult for competitors. Tesla is superior in hardware, software and deliveries. It is a special unique situation for a market leader being so dominant even till now. Apple was prominent but not dominant. Anyone can change your phone to android and you really don't have an issue as long as thedislike level is not drastically impossible for anyone. However, EV cars are way more complicated thana smart phone. Tesla is specially positioned to be dominant market leader for not just a few years but at least a decade ahead.
