For those unsure why the big drop today. 

Japfa share splitting to AAG $AustAsia Group Ltd.(02425)$   1000Japfa to 200 AAG. 

AAG share to be distributed on 30 Jan [Speechless] [Speechless] [Speechless]  . Now become sitting duck ... Quack Quack Quack ... hope it is not duck hunting season. [LOL] [LOL] [LOL]

    I thought Japfa share price already ex last week. Now upon trading of AAG, it become ex-ptice. Should have thrown in the towel at 55.

      now its same value as 55 with AAG . throw at 59 is worth it. otherwise i think i rather hold

      AAG recovered from the drop and japfa still holding . overall still ok. You can opt for payout in Jan if you wan to selloff AAG .

    I still find some uncertainty. Any advice is appreciated. 

    Japfa shares owner can opt for getting the AAG shares (option 1, 2) or by default get payout (option 4) .

    However it was not stated at what value will the AAG share be if you choose option 4 . [Helpless] [Doubt] Anyone can advise on this part ?

      if the value for aag goes up means its will cause the value of japfa to drop... hence japfa if no new biz... its as good as junk.

      based on trend the value seems to be go towards 42 to 45 cents worse than 53.5 cents

      thanks for the reply. If the payout of the AAG for option 4 is at market value then it is true there is risk on our side.  At the moment , japfa+AAG are  similar to before split . Like nothing happened [LOL] [Facepalm] ...

      net the spin off is worse off for us who invested in average 55 cents.

      so at the end the price may become 3hkd or less before it short up for those new buyer or non option 4
