The three major stock indexes tumbled after U.S. inflation data fell short of market expectations. The Dow tumbled 3.94%, its worst day since June 2020.
Consumer prices in the United States, released Tuesday, rose 8.3 percent in August from a year earlier. Core inflation, which excludes the volatile food and energy components, rose 6.3 per cent from a year earlier, above market expectations.

The five-storey property project is Tengfei's first refrigerated logistics project in the region. At the end of June this year, there were five tenants, including a supermarket chain. Net property income in the first year after acquisition is expected to yield 7 per cent before transaction costs, or 6.9 per cent when transaction costs are included.

2. $MOYA HOLDINGS ASIA LIMITED(5WE.SI)$ has received an offer from investment firm Tamaris Infrastructure to acquire all of Moya's shares at 9.2 cents per share in cash. The purchase price represents a 48.1% premium to the company's volume-weighted average price (VWAP) for the three months ending Sept. 8.

4. Centurion Malaysia, a unit of $CENTURION CORPORATION LIMITED(OU8.SI)$, announced the expansion of the capacity of purpose-built worker quarters in Malaysia. The capacity of company-specific worker dormitories fell to 25,099 beds at the end of June, after the company completed a reconfiguration in December to comply with regulatory requirements. The company is therefore looking to expand its capacity to cope with growing demand from multinationals, smes and HR agents.
