$Adobe(ADBE)$Acquired design platform Figma for 20Billion USD. Adobe current market cap is 140B USD. This represents more than 10% of Adobe total value. Why did a tech behemoth like Adobe spent so much on an acquisition. We as investor needs to think about the value of the deal and why did Adobemake the deal.

In my opinion, this acquisition is mainly a killoff competttion  head-to-head  with Adobe's XD program In order to strengthens its economic moat.

ADBE owns the creative space with Photoshop and other SW. They bought a competitor, FIGMA using their huge cash flow. This move was defensive and smart. The stock got hit and will not recover for years.

An insane move to buy a company with an estimated value of 10 billion for 20 billion. And this in a bear market with a looming recession.
