AMD is expected to launch lower cost variants of the MI300 for sales outside super computing, although what "super computing" means is in question. Jensen for example often indicates that everything it sells is a super computing device. The software developed for what normally have been considered to be super computers, tends to be custom developed to make the most out of the architecture's unique properties and is dependent on what is being computed, that's they way it has always been. Some of the code will be released as open source, and some of it will not be released, but unless you have the a compatible architecture none of it will be usable.
