$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ $Intel(INTC)$ $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$
Too be fair AMD also had an almost doubling of inventory from the year ago period. It would be interesting to try and figure out how much of the AMD inventory build is/was in preparation for the new product launch cycle. AMD recently launched new products. AMD competes more with INTC in the CPU space while only a 10% participant in the GPU space against NVDA. AMD and INTC are playing games in channel inventory especially outside of the server market. The NVDA inventory is troubling as NVDA is the 90% dominant GPU supplier and as such has little wiggle room to slash prices without directly impacting the NVDA margins and even the product demand. Going to be interesting to see what and how NVDA deals with this inventory! Could another discount be in the coming weeks?
