Financial services are undergoing dramatic change. The next generation of investors will be younger and more diverse. Women will play an increasingly significant role in building and growing family wealth.

This data is obtained from the Tiger Trade App, which demonstrates the preferences of female investors in the investment sector. Here's what you need to know.

More Women Are Investing Than Ever Before

According to Tiger Trade's Women & Investing Study published in 2022, 30% of Tiger Trade users are female investors.

In addition, women today - particularly millennials - are more interested in investing than ever before. 44.8% of female users are between the ages of 30-39. 70% of female users are between 18 and 39 years old.

Women Invest According to Their Values

Among all female traders, 78.4% trade US stocks, 37.8% trade Australian stocks, 12.3% trade Hong Kong stocks, and 24.2% trade ETFs. Male investors on the platform have a similar asset class preference.

Women Prefer Less Risky Products

82.5% of female users aim to gain trading profits, 50% hope to achieve long-term returns, 20% aim for dividend income, and 13% hope to preserve value by purchasing low-risk assets.

51.7% of female users choose low-risk investments, compared to 60.4% of male users. 48% of female users choose medium-risk investments, compared to 39.4% of male users. The remaining users choose high-risk investments.

The data also shows a significant gender disparity in options trading. Only 3.8% of female investors trade in US stock options, compared to 10.7% of male investors.

Are there any female investors around you, and what is the return on their investments?

🌟🌟🌟Women investors are now in the forefront more than ever before in the stock markets.   I am fortunate to learn from many great female leaders in this field in Australia.

I have read and learnt from Danielle Ecuyer's books Shareplicity and Shareplicity 2.  Danielle has 3 decades of successful experience in share investing having worked in London for big financial firms.

Another well known Australian is Canna Campbell who has a huge following through her "SugarMumma" persona in Facebook which offers financial tips and advice.  She also wrote "The AUD 1000 Project" and "Mindful Money".

I also like Lacey Filipich's book on Money School on how to get financial independence.

I am an admirer of Cathie Wood who puts money into disruptive innovation which is technologies that will transform business in coming years through her firm ARK Invest.

I have learnt heaps from these women and applied the principles in my investing. Knowledge is power especially with action.

most of them likely to buy "safer and bigger brands " stocks, $Apple(AAPL)$ and $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ . These stocks usually have growth but have low dividend profits.
