@Ah_MengChatGPT AI Today I am trying something new. I have not used this Post function before in 🐯 app, so testing for the first time. Riding on @LMSunshine post on the pick-and-shovel plays amidst the recent AI craze, I want to talk about a totally different topic. It is not about companies selection or stocks but purely AI chat! How much do you trust AI? ChatGPT AI launch and the subsequent funding round has created a lot of buzz in the AI space. The craze has generated a lot of hot air... Companies that have been working quietly in the space and those using AI for years suddenly grown in prominence... Out of nothing of their own designs! So how good and accurate is really ChatGPT AI to generate this craze? I understand in fact it is Microsoft rather than ChatGPT itself that makes this hot. It all makes sense. If Microsoft is going to pay $Billions, obviously the marketing teams from both ChatGPT and Microsoft want to justify this kind of pricing valuation. Just a little marketing spin is all it needs to generate buzz in the current internet connectivity space. Is this not the very story that every analysts, speculators and maybe even investors have been crying out for in this inflated world? I have tried ChatGPT when I first about it when I was holidaying in Singapore during the new year period. I am sure many people have. You would have heard the cognitive advantage ChatGPT has over Google. Before I go any further, unless you have not paid attention, Google and Baidu, even our dearest Microsoft Edge are already running on AI in their search engines... It is perhaps just what, rather than if... So I was caught off guard when the AI craze took off! Google and Baidu merely mentioned that they are testing another form of AI in response to the threat from the marketing team of Microsoft, rather than from ChatGPT! Marketing is a powerful tool. What ChatGPT can do is not important. The important thing is that what is it believe to be able to do... Back to my test on ChatGPT AI. I can say that it is not bad. It gives you what its database says. But I must say it is not clever enough at this stage. I guess like a growing child, it needs a lot more data to grow. It depends on what you ask and how you ask. It remembers your last questions but it might not be aware that you are asking a following up question if it doesn't sense the link. At least for this point, I give it the credit over SIRI. Oh yeah! SIRI is a AI bot as well if you have missed that. A word of caution before I wrap out. Everything is not what it appears to be. ChatGPT AI is not a have all and end all. For students, I would advise you to counter-check its facts and figures before using it for your answers. Like we all know, it is data-fed. Garbage in, garbage out... As simple as it is. I have fact checked some of its information or examples, and found it to be horribly WRONG! It is perhaps giving us what we like to know, and not what is correct... Sigh... Long live our brains! Use it while we still can... Feel free to share it. Don't think ChatGPT AI or Microsoft will come after me? At least I don't wish that to happen in this connected world space. I am laying out information for your own research purposes. Test it for yourselves. Ask it things in your specialist field. Don't just trust what you see or hear in the media... That includes your truly [Spurting] [Facepalm] [Happy] [Cool]
