Piper Sandler believes investors are overlooking $NVIDIA(NVDA.US)$'s software businesses.
On Wednesday, analyst Harsh Kumar increased his price target on Nvidia stock to $300 from $275, and reaffirmed his Overweight rating.
"We feel that NVDA has the ability to create new and lucrative market opportunities with its software footprint which is still in its early stages of growth and adoption," he wrote.
Lately, the main focus of the chip maker's analysts has been on the artificial intelligence hardware. Last week at a conference for developers, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced a wide-ranging set of partnerships and products that make possible the latest generative AI services -- all powered by Nvidia's semiconductors.
