Only 30% of PACW's securities portfolio is reported using amortized cost (HTM) and rest is reported at fair value (AFS) and their effect already reported under equity. Other than bank run (which is impossible given the recent actions with FRC) and deep recession leading to extraordinary increases in non-performing loans, I don't see any reason for this stock to trade below $27.$PacWest(PACW)$
