Bob Lee, former Chief Technology Officer of $Block(SQ)$ and current Chief Product Officer of MobileCoin was stabbed in downtown San Francisco around 2:35 a.m. on April 4 and later died of his injuries.

3. Questioning: incidents or attempted murder?
Former global mixed martial arts champion Jake Shields said that even though Bob Lee was already in a relatively nice area of downtown San Francisco at the time, he still suffered such a random assault.
The place where Bob Lee was stabbed is actually only a few minutes' walking distance from Google's San Francisco office, surrounded by high-class office buildings and residences, and not considered a place where homeless people gather and have a high crime rate.
Subsequently, Elon Musk also left a message under Jake Shields tweet saying that as far as he knows many people living in San Francisco have suffered very serious attacks and that the crime in San Francisco has been so horrific.
