Apple's value is purely trend-based and contemporary consumer sentiment. That can change rapidly as we have seen before. Apple will be worth 500$ billion at most, offering a niche product for the true fanboys, not for mass market. Amazon is a good company but worldwide growth is limited, with disruption from other e-commerce companies coming such as Shopify, Alibaba and social commerce.
