🥇Li Auto is bordering on breakeven, according to the 32 American Auto analysts, who're anticipate a final loss in 2022, before generating positive profits of CN¥1.0 Billion in 2023.
🥈NIO CEO William Li told analysts he expects the automaker’s core business to break even in Q4 2023, without offering detail. His optimism is undermined, however, by signs the company has lost control of costs. Extensive marketing and service expenses, including an elaborate battery-swapping scheme, crushed the bottom line.
🥉XPEV had initially "aimed to break even by late 2023 or early 2024," but now "expects to turn an operating profit in 2025," according to CEO He Xiaopeng.
