Atlas Corp. is a publicly-traded company that operates in a variety of industries, including real estate development, construction, and engineering services. In this financial analysis, we will take a closer look at Atlas Corp.'s recent financial performance and explore potential trading strategies for investors.

Financial Performance

Atlas Corp. has demonstrated a strong financial performance in recent years, with consistent growth in revenue and earnings per share (EPS). In 2020, the company's revenue reached $3.6 billion, an increase of 5% from the previous year. Its EPS for the year was $2.70, an increase of 7% from 2019. This strong financial performance was primarily driven by growth in its real estate development and construction segments.

In addition to its strong revenue growth, Atlas Corp. also has a solid balance sheet, with $1.2 billion in cash and cash equivalents as of December 31, 2020. This, combined with its stable revenue and EPS growth, suggests that the company has a strong financial position and the ability to weather economic challenges.

Trading Strategies

Based on its recent financial performance, Atlas Corp. appears to be a solid investment opportunity for long-term investors. The company's consistent revenue growth and strong balance sheet suggest that it has a solid foundation for future growth. As such, a buy-and-hold strategy could be a good option for investors looking for stability and steady growth over the long-term.

For investors looking for a more aggressive strategy, Atlas Corp.'s strong financial performance and growth potential make it a good candidate for a growth investment strategy. This approach involves buying shares in companies that are expected to grow at a faster rate than the overall market, and holding onto those shares for a longer period of time in order to capitalize on that growth.

Another strategy that investors may consider is value investing. This approach involves looking for companies that are undervalued by the market and buying shares in those companies with the expectation that their true value will be recognized over time, leading to higher stock prices. Atlas Corp.'s strong financial performance, combined with its relatively low price-to-earnings ratio, suggests that it may be a good candidate for a value investment strategy.

In conclusion, Atlas Corp. appears to be a solid investment opportunity for long-term investors. Its consistent revenue growth, strong balance sheet, and growth potential make it a good candidate for a variety of investment strategies, including buy-and-hold, growth, and value investing.$Atlas Corp.(ATCO)$

If ATCO's price drops after Feb. 24, I'll continue collecting dividends just like the Washingtons and Watsa and then we'll see how they like Sokol's shenanigans and business acumen.

Something is not right with ATCO. There is no reason to delay the vote for $15.50/share. My guess is that Sokol and company know that this will not be accepted.

The only thing ATCO and the comparable companies have in common is that they are in the maritime industry.

I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to swing ATCO into a loss by moving every potential drop of red ink into Q4.
