The Federal Reserve (Fed) sets monetary policy, including interest rates, to support its dual mandate of maximum employment and stable prices.

The timing of a potential pause in rate hikes will depend on a range of economic and financial conditions, including inflation, employment, and economic growth.

It is important to note that the Fed operates independently and its decisions on interest rates are based on its assessment of the current and expected economic conditions, and are not influenced by outside factors.

As such, it is not possible to predict with certainty when the Fed may pause its rate hikes.

However, I hope it will pause or even reducethe rate by Mid June 2023.

How to Interpret Powell's Testimony?
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is scheduled to testify before Congress on 7th and 8th March. Powell on Tuesday cautioned that interest rates are likely to head higher than central bank policymakers had expected. The stock market plunged after his speech. Some investors argue that the market is over-reacting. --------- [Topic] How do you interpret Powell's testimony? How do you expect Powell's testimony tonight? How will the testimony affect rate hike expectations?
