$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$  People are forgetting TSMC has the best yield on manufacturing chips. 4-5nm with +90% yield. 3nm 60-80% yield. That translates to less raw materials, lower cost (and higher margins). Let’s not forget they got apple to agree on a price increase of 6% for their chips even with a looming recession. That is pricing POWER. Apple makes up 25-30% of their revenue and a line up of other customers waiting for their turn at their new 3nm tech. If one company reduces their orders, there’s always another to replace them. Why? TSMC is a pure play company. For example, Intel could easily secretly steal R&D secrets by making AMD/nvidia chips. This is not a problem with tsmc. Companies are also following apples footsteps with designing their own chips. Again through TSMC, there is less likelihood of revealing top secret designs. The world relies too much on them for manufacturing. USA IMPORTS from china total about 500B while exports to china is $150B. Not to mention TOTAL USA imports are 1/3 from CHINA. The worlds two largest economies won’t risk a full scale war.
