$Exxon Mobil(XOM)$ Energy stocks have been performing well YTD and it coincides with market top. This partly has to do with the flow of funds due to sector rotation.
With the trend now it will mean that we could be in the early or middle bear of the stockmarket cycle. Once the full recession hits there economy, we will enter the late bear.
One way to track the recovery is to monitor the economic results or whether there is anysector rotation into utilities.
