$Meta Materials Inc.(MMAT)$ Right now the shorts are just operating business as usual as notices are going out to alert hedge funds of the dates. I would think that Wednesday the short behavior should start shifting from normal operations to cover mode. Then they will burn through the day trader inventory of stock...that is when they will have to start dealing with those holding. Depending on sale orders...that is when the jump starts to come in.
