2016: Bass Strait Oil Company Limited sold its remaining Indonesian asset, a 55% interest in the Tangai-Sukananti KSO, South Sumatra Basin, Indonesia, to Cooper Energy.

2018: Bass Oil Ltd elected to withdraw from the acquisition of a 100% participating interest in the North Madura production sharing contract (PSC) in Java from AziPac Limited.

2019: Bass Oil was set to commence drilling soon at the Bunian-5 well, located within the Tangai-Sukananti project–an onshore oil rig in the South Sumatra Basin.

2021: Bass Oil provided onshore Indonesian oil operations for Feb.

2022: The company announced drilling of the Tangai-5 oil well within its joint ventured producing Tangai-Sukananti KSO project onshore Sumatra in Indonesia.

2022: Bass Oil Limited acquired Cooper Basin portfolio of properties of Beach Energy from Beach Energy Limited (ASX:BPT) for AD 0.65 million.
