Recent trades

$TQQQ(TQQQ)$‌Recently, I bought back TQQQ on two ocassions at $19.75 and $19.34. The reason I bought back TQQQ as I saw that there is a need for rebound in all three indexes after a big selloff in recent months. However, it is still quite hard to perform short-term trade in this market in recent days as the market rise one day and fall the other. If you are a good trader and have time to monitor the market on a daily basis, it will defintely benefit you since there is a potential to earn from both long and short positions. But for me, most of the time due to timezone difference, I am only able to monitor the market for the first half of the day. Hence, it is much more important for me to pick important ticker and buy at, not the lowest, but one of the lowest point so that I can trade effectively. Based on my experience, it will be great to always keep a trailing stop loss in the event if the market go against your trade and this is very important in recent months because of the high volatility in the market. For example, if you have been following my previous posts, you would have known I have trade ‌$Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares(SOXL)$‌as well and I sold my position at around $7.60 before it went back to $7.20. Defintely, one may say that the price now is much higher and I could earn more if I have holdmy position. But, by placing a trailing stop loss or just a stop loss, I do not need to go through the emtional stage whereby I see my profits being given back to the market. This is way much better for traders, and I mean most of us, that will be affected emotionally when we see our trade turned from positive to negative. So this is an advice I will like to pass on to other traders ‌[微笑]

Right now, other than monitoring the tickers I am interested in and there are mainly leveraged etfs of the indexes, I do look out for other signs as well like ‌$UVXY(UVXY)$‌as well as the strength od USD. Through all this analysis, I will then find the appropriate timing to enter. This may seem like a hassel for many, whereby it may be easier to just find a company that you like and invest or trade in it. But I enjoy doing this sort of analysis and slowly finding my own style in trading and reading of charts.  I feel that this is a process many will need to take before becoming a better trader. ‌[得意]
