There is no doubt both brands are premium, luxury and well positioned themselves. Both are also the market leaders most innovated within their own sectors.

I do not think Tesla will exceed Apple markets cap if Tesla is just doing what they are doing right now. What I believe Tesla is lacking behind is the entire ecosystem for an individual. Just like Apple can launch a new product (Intelligent Vehicle) to integrate to the existing ecosystem that Apple has built. On the other hands, Tesla required to build the whole ecosystem that is not existed yet.
