SEA may need to relook at its business model, although a successful one may not work well in another country. Additionally, the background of the company and its founder is closely related to China, where SEA became the scapegoat when there was a political "crossfire," India as an example. The stiff competition among other E-commerce and gaming platforms further hurt the revenue and thus the profitability (although it suffered losses for many quarters).
