NIO, AMD, Pfizer, Eli Lilly And More: U.S. Stocks To Watch

With US stock futures trading higher this morning on Tuesday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

NIO (NYSE:NIO) delivered 10,059 vehicles in October 2022, representing an increase of 174.3% year-over-year. The deliveries consisted of 5,979 premium smart electric SUVs including 2,814 ES7s, and 4,080 premium smart electric sedans including 3,050 ET7s and 1,030 ET5s. The vehicle production and delivery were constrained by operation challenges in our plants as well as supply chain volatilities due to the COVID-19 situations in certain regions in China. Cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles reached 259,563 as of October 31, 2022. NIO shares jumped 6.6% in premarket trading.

Analysts expect Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) to post quarterly earnings at $0.74 per share on revenue of $5.82 billion after the closing bell. AMD shares gained 1% in premarket trading.

Li Auto Inc. (NASDAQ:LI) announced that the Company delivered 10,052 vehicles in October 2022, up 31.4% year over year. The cumulative deliveries of Li Auto vehicles reached 221,067 as of the end of October. Li Auto shares jumped 6.7% in premarket trading.

XPeng (NYSE:XPEV) recorded monthly deliveries in October of 5,101 Smart EVs, consisting of 2,104 P7s, the Company’s smart sports sedan, 1,665 P5 smart family sedans and 709 G3i smart compact SUVs. Total monthly deliveries in October down 49.7% year-over-year. XPeng shares added 3.6% in premarket trading.

Wall Street expects Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) to report quarterly earnings at $1.47 per share on revenue of $21.37 billion before the opening bell. Pfizer shares gained 0.7% in premarket trading.

BP plc (NYSE:BP) reported better-than-expected profit for its third quarter and disclosed plans to buy back $2.5 billion of shares. BP shares fell 0.7% in premarket trading.

Analysts are expecting Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) to have earned $1.92 per share on revenue of $6.91 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Eli Lilly shares gained 0.6% to close at $362.09 on Monday.

Sony Group Corporation (NYSE:SONY) said its overall group operating profit climbed 8% to 344 billion yen ($2.32 billion) during the second quarter, exceeding market expectations. However, profit at its key gaming segment dropped 50% year-over-year last quarter. Sony shares dropped 0.6% to close at $67.47 on Monday.
